Regular check-ups and maintenance of your oral health is key to preventing disease and gives us the chance to diagnose problems early, making treatment simpler. At All Saints, we pride ourselves on focusing on prevention of disease to help you achieve and maintain a healthy, beautiful smile.
Examination- this is a thorough assessment that allows us to identify any potential problems and advise you on the options available. We will always take your needs and wants into account and provide you with a tailor-made treatment plan.
Fillings- a filling is a simple and effective way to restore teeth which have fractured, decayed, worn or been subject to trauma. The types of filling range from composite and glass ionomer (tooth coloured), to amalgam (metal). All the above have important roles in restoring teeth.
Crowns- A crown is a tooth shaped covering that encases a natural tooth. Crowns are useful when restoring a broken or damaged tooth when a filling may not suffice. This may be due to the extent of damage, to protect a weakened tooth or on some occasions crowns can be used cosmetically.
Bridges- these are fixed restorations which replace missing teeth. Bridges utilise natural teeth as anchors to fill the gap of a missing tooth.
Root canal treatment- A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth. This can arise when a tooth is badly decayed, fractured or has become infected. During a root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed.
Regular professional cleaning of the teeth and surrounding gums is very important and can help prevent and treat gum disease. We offer a cosmetic ‘air polish’ which is great at removing everyday stains caused by coffee, tea, wine and smoking. We will also educate you on specific oral hygiene and diet advice.
We understand the importance of helping you achieve a beautiful smile. Our cosmetic treatments range from home tooth whitening to veneers and crowns/bridges.
Bonding- this is a minimally invasive method of correcting chips, closing gaps, masking discolouration, building up and straightening teeth. On some occasions this can be done without any drilling or injections whatsoever!
Teeth whitening- this is the gold standard of tooth whitening. It is a safe method of whitening discoloured teeth which may arise from smoking, food and drink and certain tooth conditions. It involves placing whitening gels in bespoke trays constructed especially for your teeth. You will usually notice results after only a few days use!
Veneers- a veneer is a thin covering that sits directly over a tooth. they can be made from tooth coloured materials or metal and can correct chips, discolouration, stains, straighten teeth and close gaps.
Onlays and inlays- these are conservative, aesthetic and durable restorations which protect and rebuild teeth which have fractured, been subject to decay or require protection.
